Playing a perfect first half of their Little Hawkeye Conference schedule and focused on their final three conference matches over the course of the next few weeks, the Pella High volleyball team is finding ways to win. The lady Dutch are still ranked 15th according to the most recent polls, have toppled Oskaloosa, Grinnell and Dallas Center-Grimes all while not losing a single set to any conference opponent to this point. Coach Catie Brand says that it hasn’t been just one person up to this point that has led them to their success thus far. Brand says that she has had several different leaders and that’s exactly what she wants; everyone to be playing well as the get closer and closer to the regional tournament and push towards a conference title. Pella’s next conference game is a big one, as they’ll go across town to play Pella Christian on Tuesday.
