Shortly after noon Monday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle on fire, adjacent to a building at 1188 McKimber, in Knoxville. Officials at the scene told KNIA and KRLS News someone was welding on a Ford Ranger when it caught fire. The vehicle was pulled away from the building with a roll back and the fire was extinguished. Nobody was injured in the blaze. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Knoxville Police Department, the Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, and Marion County Emergency Management responded to the scene.
