Pella Regional and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics will join forces with KNIA and KRLS for the 7th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Save A Life Radiothon, beginning today. The event’s purpose is to promote breast cancer awareness and encourage women to schedule their yearly mammogram. Dr. Bob Leonard will talk with women who will share stories of struggle and survival today from 4 to 8 pm in Pella, and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm in Knoxville. KNIA and KRLS’s Big Red Radio will be on location both nights playing music and making announcements.
