A prominent and long-term fixture of the downtown Knoxville business scene, Nanjotronics Radio Shack, is changing ownership today. Jo Goff, who has owned the store for 29 years, is turning over the keys of the business to Robert Odom of Knoxville. Goff tells KNIA KRLS News that she has mixed feelings on selling the business, but thinks it will be in good hands, and wishes Odom success for many years to come. Odom tells KNIA KRLS News that there is an expansion of inventory planned for the near future, and that he hopes to expand the customer base as well. He says that many potential customers–particularly younger ones–are shopping in Des Moines when they can actually find what they want locally, along with better service.
