The Foundation at Pella Regional Health Center tells KNIA and KRLS that they recently awarded scholarship money to six employees who have taken the next step in furthering their education by obtaining a BSN degree. Yvonne O’Brien, chief nursing officer at Pella Regional Health Center, says there is a growing body of evidence that shows that BSN graduates bring unique nursing skills to their work, and play an important role in the delivery of safe patient care. The six employees were Lindy Bradley, Deb Davis, Debra Gustafson, Erin Hynick, Erica Marvelli, and Geneva Murphy.
