Who needs a blue ribbon when you have a Red Ribbon? Owner of Red Ribbon, Lisa Marshall says that her business won the first round of the contest for a $5000 business grant, sponsored by The Iowa Innovation Gateway, of which Marion County Development Commission is a member. Marshall says she wants to open a stand-alone bakery in Knoxville, and this grant will help with that. The top 4 businesses are now able to go to the regional competition in the contest. Online voting closed at 5 on Thursday.
