A group of independent artists are putting on the 2nd Annual Festive Whimsy and Fine Art Event, December 6th and 7th at the Strawtown Shoppes in Pella. Lisa Davis-Kovarik, Executive Secretary for the group says they are looking for local artists to submit vendor applications. She adds that it’s a juried selection, and they are looking for fine art in all mediums, that are original and handcrafted. The event will take place from 10 am to 8 pm Friday the 6th, and 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday the 7th.
