Marion County Road crews are ready to go when the snow flies. Steve McCombs with the Marion County Secondary Roads Department tells KNIA KRLS News that the equipment needed for the 16 snow plow routes and 14 maintainer routes are in good shape, as are spare equipment used in emergencies. Adequate salt and sand are also at hand, with stockpiles being topped off in early November.
