Iowa State University has a new extension Beef Program Specialist, right here in Marion County. Patrick Wall, an Illinois native, has been waiting for the opportunity to join ISU as an extension specialist for years. Wall’s immediate plans are to learn about existing programs and educational efforts, and then pursue individual interests and opportunities such as heifer development, alternative grazing and youth development work.
