Monday night, Pella Christian High School and Pella Christian Grade School both held school board meetings. After the high school board voted on whether or not to allow the grade school to build a 7th and 8th grade addition onto the current facility, high school principal Darryl DeRuiter and a small delegation presented their decision at the grade school board meeting. DeRuiter says that they will now meet with representatives from each of their five other sister schools located in Grinnell, Newton, Sully, Oskaloosa, and Peoria to discuss the decision. DeRuiter adds that more information is expected to released to the public early next week.
