A 21 year old Oskaloosa woman was arrested Tuesday, and charged with forgery. A Knoxville Police Department officer arrested Kelsie Dawn Spears at a gas station in Knoxville, caught in the act of using a forged check. Between October 17 and 22, Spears allegedly forged checks nine separate times in Knoxville and was denied from using a forged check several times. The officer contacted the account holder, who said she was unauthorized to use the account, and he did want charges pressed. Spears was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Spears is being held in the Marion County Jail.
