A Pella man was just one number away from winning last week’s $37 million Mega Millions jackpot. Richard Petersma matched all five white balls, but missed the Mega Ball to win a $250,000 prize. Petersma’s ticket was one of five in the country to win a quarter million dollar prize. Petersma purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s on Oskaloosa St. in Pella with the winning numbers: 5, 20, 45, 48, and 56.
