The Pella High football team is in the middle of preparations for tomorrow night’s game at home against Fairfield. The Little Dutch are coming off a win over Winterset this past Friday, 37 – 14 which capped off a perfect 9 – 0 regular season. With only four days of preparation, it helps to have been in the postseason in the past and know what you need to do to get ready for the first round of the playoffs. Coach Jay McKinstrey says it is a blessing having been through the short turnaround before, and have found out what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to planning for Wednesday, and they have their own schedule for this week. Fairfield is Pella’s first round opponent, whom they will host at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow, and can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com.
