Last night four area teams began their attempts to win five consecutive games to claim a state championship. Home field advantage proved to be the difference as Pella Christian drove to St. Albert-Council Bluffs where they fell 35-7. PCM treked out to the east coast of Iowa where they fell 21-0 to Mediapolis. An odd start to the scoring in Bussey ended with a Twin Cedars victory, 40-22 over Lamoni. Pella also won at home, decisively defeating Fairfield 56-14. Twin Cedars will now travel to Adair-Casey Monday night, while Pella will continue to enjoy their home field advantage as they host the 8-2 Williamsburg Red Raiders.
