Mark Jacobs, who announced earlier this week that he will be running for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2014, will be in Pella Friday. Jacobs will meet with business and community leaders as part of his 22 city, 5 day tour of the state. Jacobs, who previously served as president and CEO of Reliant Energy, also founded Reaching Higher Iowa, an organization advocating for improved public education.
