The first shotgun season started yesterday. Ken Kenyon, DNR Conservation Officer says that while deer numbers are still high locally, other parts of the state have seen their numbers drop dramatically. In fact, Kenyon says that many northwestern counties will not have any antlerless tags available, while 2,250 were sold in Marion County.
