Jury Ellis is an 8 year old race car driver who races at English Creek Speedway, south of Knoxville. Jury recently won second place at the English Creek Speedway banquet, and just returned from a trip to Texas where he won first place in one race. He was disqualified in a heat race on his second trip to Texas, but he finished 6th in the feature race. This places him second in points standings for the Midwest Winter Series.

He says he decided he wanted to drive race cars one day when his mom was driving by the speedway, and that Santa brought him the helmet he currently uses while he races. Jury is the son of Melissa and Dustin Ellis, of rural Knoxville, and has been racing since he was 4 years old.
