Depression can sometimes seriously affect people during the holidays. Cheryl Garland, with Integrative Counseling Solutions tells KNIA KRLS News that the best thing to do is to reach out to others, despite how difficult it may seem. She says another way to feel better is to think about other people that may need your help, and get out and do something for someone else. If you feel it’s necessary, seek professional help from a counselor or a social worker, or you can talk to a teacher or a member of the clergy.
