Pella High’s girls’ basketball team has the capabilities of being a squad that could make some noise when the regional tournaments start up in February. The team is filled with young, talented players and experienced athletes that could provide a big spark when they restart their season on Tuesday. After a tough last week of 2013, Coach Jerod Garland says that his girls just need to recharge their batteries. He adds that at their best, they could be a team no one wants to face when tournament time comes around. The Lady Dutch are currently 4 – 4 on the season before playing both Pella Christian and Knoxville next week.
