1.3 million Americans lost their unemployment benefits this week. Recently, a Marion County resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, spoke with KNIA KRLS News about her loss of unemployment benefits. She had a job, but the company she worked for went to computerized technology; and she lost that job. She says is going to go to school for computer technology, but in the meantime, she must provide for her family. She would like to stress that not everyone on unemployment is lazy and not looking for jobs; she is looking but the few jobs that are available are in high demand by many applicants.
