Marion County is a tourist destination. To help encourage more visitors to come here, and to promote tourism in our area, representatives from the county will be at The Des Moines Boat, Sports and Travel Show, the weekend of January 17 through 19 at the Iowa Events Center. Volunteers from the community will be on hand at the event to answer questions visitors might have about Knoxville, Pella, Lake Red Rock and all of Marion County. The event goes from 5 to 9 on the 17th, 9 to 9 on the 18th and 9 to 5 on the 19th.
