Friday the 17th is the deadline to drop off or mail ballots for the Farm Service Agency County Committee Elections, says Marion County Executive Director Angie Vos. She says that Kent Chrisman has been on the committee for three years, and this year is running unopposed, but she encourages eligible voters to show support for the committee. She says producers in the townships of East and West Knoxville, Indiana, Clay and Liberty are eligible to cast votes. The committee delivers FSA programs at the local level and makes judgment calls on commodity price support and conservation programs among others.
