The National Weather Service reports that Arctic cold will remain across Iowa through at least Tuesday before temperatures moderate mid-week. High temperatures today will remain well below zero over northeast Iowa. Wind chill values over central and northeast Iowa will be in the 20 to 40 below zero range through Tuesday morning. The wind will remain brisk today before diminishing tonight as high pressure arrives. Marion County and surrounding areas are under a wind chill warning.
