Beth Van Maanen, Hospice, was recently selected as the 2013 Shining Star of the Year at Pella Regional. Van Maanen lives in Pella and was named Shining Star of the Month in November. Shining Star is a reward and recognition program designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best. Van Maanen received an Employee of the Year plaque and $250.
