Knoxville’s City Council heard a presentation this week by Greg Roth, with Veenstra and Kimm, regarding the 2014 Streetscape construction plans. According to Roth, construction is set to begin the first of March on the block of Robinson Street, between Second and Third Streets. He says contractors will also finish up the concrete work on the first phase as soon as the weather warms up. The budget for Fiscal year 2015 was also discussed, and a special session for additional budget discussion is set for Monday at 6:15 at City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.
