During the last weekend in February, Central will host the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Iowa Association of Political Scientists. Andrew Green, Associate Professor of Political Science at Central College and President-elect of the Iowa Association of Political Scientists, said the annual meeting provides a chance for political scientists, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students from Iowa and around the country to network and present research. A keynote from Jeff Link, Central class of ‘89 and owner of Link Strategies, a Des Moines political consulting firm, will be held in the Dave and Ardie Sutphen Common Room March 1st at 1pm.
