Released yesterday morning, all seven of our area teams know who and where they will be playing when the 2014 fall football season gets underway in a little under six months. For Pella, they drew three tough non-district contests; the Little Dutch will travel to Washington to begin the season on August 29, then host Dallas Center-Grimes before starting district play. Pella has an away game with Newton in week seven as their other non-district match-up. PCM will have to play Pella Christian, Central Decatur and West Marshall in their three away-from-district contests. The Eagles of course play the Mustangs, but add to that Lynnville-Sully and Albia right in the first three weeks of their schedule. Pleasantville has Colfax-Mingo and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Twin Cedars will play English Valleys and Grand View Christian School, while Melcher-Dallas drew Colo-Nesco and Guthrie Center.
