High-School

Knoxville High School Principal Kevin Crawford is retiring at the end of the current school year, and the search for a new principal is underway. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that two of the three candidates that were set to interview have accepted employment elsewhere, so at this week’s school board meeting, the board approved an agreement with G. Tryon & Associates to assist in the search. This is the same firm hired to assist the board in the superintendent search. Dr. Flack says the interview with the third candidate went well, but those involved felt they needed at least a couple more candidates for comparison. He says they hope to conclude the search by early April.
