Beth Adamcik, Community Outreach Director for Habitat for Humanity of Marion County tells KNIA/KRLS News that they have five builds occurring in 2014. Adamcik says there is a home currently being built in Knoxville, mainly by high school students. Projects will also start soon in Pella and Pleasantville, and later in the year houses will be built in Knoxville and rural Marion County upon the conclusion of the first projects in Pleasantville and Knoxville. Adamcik adds that anyone interested in volunteering or bringing a group to work on a project can call the Habitat office at 828-8844.
