The Knoxville High School spring band concert is this evening at 7, at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. The concert and jazz bands will both perform. The jazz band recently performed at Truman State University and brought home top scores for their performances. Band instructor Kelilah Brown says the kids all put in a lot of hard work in rehearsals, and they have worked up new songs for the spring concert. Brown says the concert band will feature soloist Rachel Worthington on xylophone, and there are many soloists in jazz band. The concert starts at 7 and Brown invites everyone to come out to hear some good music.
