Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson says the outdoor warning siren test will be held this Wednesday at 10. He says the sirens in Knoxville, Pleasantville, Melcher-Dallas, Attica, Bussey and Swan, will be activated during this test. Anderson adds that Severe Weather Awareness Week in Iowa is March 24-28th. As in the past, there will be a statewide tornado drill that is conducted on Wednesday, March 26th. The outdoor sirens will again be activated during that test. He says the statewide test will activate sirens in Knoxville, Pella, Pleasantville, Melcher Dallas, Attica, Bussey, Harvey and Swan. Anderson says in the event of severe weather on March 26, the statewide test will be held on the 27th.
