There were many great performances by the Pella High boys’ track and field team at yesterday’s Iowa State Indoor Meet. Among the highlights include a fifth place finish by the 4 x 800 meter relay team, thanks to a sub-two-minute anchor leg from Jordan Pingel. Garret Jansen also placed ninth in the shot put up against competition from all classes. The Little Dutch will join back up with the ladies this Saturday just across town at Central College for one final indoor meet before beginning the outdoor part of their schedule.
