The Knoxville Recreation Center is ready for spring activities, and they’re beginning next month. Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says the registration deadline for youth spring soccer at the Rec Center is April 4, and it is offered for kids ages three through first grade. Nemmers says games will be Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Rec Center fields. He says this is their largest youth sport, with about 60 kids in the kindergarten and first grade level, but he says there are anywhere from 70 to 100 at the preschool level, which is for kids three to 5 years old.
