A driver with Monroe County plates had a surprise at approximately 2:30 this afternoon when a traffic light pole fell on her SUV. Gusty winds knocked the pole over, which was rusted at the base. No one was injured in the accident. The pole was located in the northeast corner of the Courthouse side of the square.
