Shortly after 6pm last night, the Pella Police Department responded to an accident with injury at the corner of Washington and West 16th street. Officers on the scene tell KNIA/KRLS News that a vehicle was waiting to turn left off of Washington into the Casey’s when they were rear ended by another motorist. One of the passengers in the car that was rear ended had a previous injury reaggravated and the ambulance was called to the scene. The passenger was then transported to Pella Regional with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. No tickets were immediately issued, but the case is still under investigation.
