The Pella Community School Board met last night. Agenda Items included a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and awarding of contracts for the middle school renovations. After no public comments were made, a motion to award contracts to seven different companies, each handling a different area, was approved. There was also a public meeting regarding the proposed school budget for FY 2014-2015, and that was approved without comment. In April, the board will meet on the 14th for a work session, and on the 28th for their next regular meeting.
