Money Smart Week is from today through April 12, and the Knoxville Public Library is joining 700 libraries in helping people of all ages become money smart. Library Director Roslin (ROSE-lynn) Thompson tells KNIA KRLS News that they will participate in “Dash for the Stash,” which is played much like a scavenger hunt. But, she says, instead of collecting objects, players will use their smartphone or other mobile device to scan codes to collect information and leave answers. Thompson says the winner will be awarded $1000 to open or add to a retirement investment account. Visit knia krls. com and click on this story for more information.
