Pella’s girls’ golf team was very competitive in a tight meet at the Pella Country Club yesterday. They finished third to Ottumwa and Washington with a score of 198, just two strokes behind the Demons and a baker’s dozen off the Bulldogs’ pace for first. Camille Henry shot a team best 44, and Aanna Roslien carded a score of 49 of the Lady Dutch. Pella’s boys blasted Grinnell and Oskaloosa in a triangular conference meet at Edmundson. Pella shot a score of 150, which was 23 strokes better than the second place Tigers. Sean Rennich was the meet medalist with his round of 34, and Colton Bradley was right behind his Dutch teammate with a 37, good for second-place honors.
