Less than a week is left for National Library Month. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson tells KNIA KRLS News that the Friends of the Library book sale is open through Saturday of this week. All proceeds go to the Friends group, which come back to the library. Leftover book and sale items are sent on to Better World Books, which gives the library 10% of their sale proceeds and 5% towards a non-profit partner. Thompson says the Knoxville Library will partner with National Centers for Family Learning, in support of literacy and families learning together.
