Pathways of Pella will host their 19th annual Walk for Life on Saturday May 17th. The event will begin at 9am at the West Market Park North Shelter. Pathways Director Chris Van Kooten tells KNIA/KRLS that they typically raise anywhere from $7,000 to $12,000, and this year’s goal is $10,000. She adds that the key is for the participants to get as many pledges as possible since there is no entrance fee, and all monies raised come from the walkers.
