In the middle of a stretch of four games in five days, the Pella Christian boys’ soccer team will get to stay at home for a change, this time to take on Perry in non-conference action. By now, it’s no secret the Eagles have been decimated by injuries and sickness early on in the year, as they have dropped their last eight decisions. Regular starters are slowly making their way back to the line-up, but with 320 minutes of soccer to be played in five days, Coach Gerrit Brouwer says some of the younger Eagles will be giving more breaks to the starters. Pella Christian looks to have their hands full against a Perry squad that’s 9 – 2 on the year. The varsity game at Pella Christian High comes first at 5:30 p.m.
