Larry Stone, author of Gladys Black: Iowa’s Bird Lady, will host a presentation at the Knoxville Public Library Thursday evening at 6:30. Stone says it’s based on the book he co-wrote with John Stravers, on memories and observations he has from the time he worked with ornithologist and Pleasantville native, Gladys Black. Stone invites anyone that may have stories to share about Black to come to the library and share.
