More than 80 people were in attendance at the 2014 Knoxville Rotary Scholarship banquet on Wednesday. Rotarian Mike Lane tells KNIA KRLS News that 16 students were awarded $500 scholarships, for a total of $16,000. Lane says in the 17 years that he’s been Chairman, Rotary has awarded approximately $133,000 total.
