The Pella School Board is holding a special meeting to approve bids for a new career academy. They heard new bids on Wednesday. The first round of bids in December all came in over budget, and Superintendent Greg Ebeling says they had to rework a few things to reduce potential expenses. The proposed career academies building would host industrial technology and agriculture classes as well as some college courses from DMACC. The meeting is at noon Friday.
