
In connection with National Hospital Week, Knoxville Hospital and Clinics held their annual service awards ceremony on Thursday May 15. Nineteen employees were presented with service awards this year, totaling 220 years of service.
Employees recognized with 5 years of service were: Annette Comstock, Nursing-Surgery; Kelli Dunkin, Nursing-Clinic; Barb Ewing, Nursing-Clinic; Amanda Johnson, Nursing-ER; Rhonda Lewin, Clinic; Connie Pace, Cardiac Rehab; Stephanie Probst, Nursing-Med/Surg.; Rita Raney, Nursing-ER; Dr. Dan Rowley, Clinic; Holly Shinn, Nursing-Clinic; Joette Stout, Nursing-Surgery; and Debbie Workman, Nursing-ER.
Natalie Rowley, Clinic, was recognized for 10 years of service.
Twenty year service awards were presented to Karol Hoehns, Lab, and Tammy Jenkins, Nursing-OB.
Sally Clark, Business Office, and Laura Hugen, Materials Management, were recognized for 25 years of service.
Thirty year service awards were presented to Pat Cieslak and Barb O’Brien, both in Admissions.
Each employee was honored with a VISA gift card in various amounts.
Lonni Harrington, Imaging-CT, was recognized as the 2014 KHC Hero of the Year. Other nominees for KHC Hero of the Year were the 2013-2014 KHC Hero of the Month honorees: Tara Branson, Lab; Rachel Davis, Wound Care; Erica Groom, Utilization Management; Bobi Mart, Imaging-MRI; Katrina Nelson, Public Relations; Barb O’Brien, Admissions; Rita Raney, Nursing-ER; and Caitlin Rondello, Nutritional Services.
