A bike ride across the state Saturday raised thousands of dollars for a local non-profit. Cyclists traveled 264 miles in the annual AFRAID Ride until they reached the Iowa/Minnesota border at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday night. The group raised more than $25,000 through pledges and donations for Bethany Christian Services of South Central Iowa in Pella.
