There is a chance to win prizes in Pella for simply reading books. The Pella Public Library’s adult summer reading program officially begins Tuesday. Library Director Wendy Street says adult readers need to submit reviews in order to qualify for weekly prizes. She says it’s a great opportunity to set a good example for children. Anyone who submits a review is entered into a grand prize drawing at the end of the program for $100 in Pella Bucks or a Fit Bit, an electronic device that monitors physical activity. We’ll have more about all of the summer reading programs on Let’s Talk Pella Tuesday.
