Area law enforcement would like to remind the public that the extra Click It or Ticket Enforcement is still ongoing through the end of the month. Lt. Paul Haase with Pella Police says that now that the holiday is over, it’s time to be extra cautious as kids get out of school. The Iowa State Patrol, Pella Police, Knoxville Police, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are all taking part in the increased patrol period, which ends on June 1st. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office will continue enforcement of the High Five Seat Belt Safety Program after this period of extra enforcement concludes.
