At the recent Republican Candidate Coffee in Knoxville, Senate candidates Sam Clovis and Scott Schaben spoke with KNIA KRLS News. Schaben said he feels he can provide a voice for Main Street Iowa, and can communicate with voters across the spectrum. He says the candidate needs to be able to speak the language and empathize with all voters. Clovis says he is the right choice because he has experience including foreign policy, homeland security, and understands the national economy, and says he is the only candidate that wants to protect life, traditional marriage, and has real business and military experience.
