The recent near-normal weather has helped stabilize crop prices. Ag Secretary Bill Northey says that the small spike in prices in the spring due to some concerns in planting has tapered off. He said that prices remain around $4 to $4.50 for corn and $12 to $13 for soybeans depending on the location in the state. He said that if this better weather pattern continues to hold up the prices should continue to soften for the fall.
